Following the success of recent JS Bach and Bach Family motet weekends we now turn our eyes to other great choral music from the period and we begin with two of the towering giants: Schütz (1585-1672) who was born exactly a hundred years before Bach and Telemann (1681-1767) who was Bach’s exact contemporary.
